We are able to secure merchant accounts for international companies and businesses that are based outside of the United States, with just a few minor conditions and a couple of additional requirements.

First of all, Visa and MasterCard require that these types of companies create a presence in the United States by incorporating, and also that they open a business checking account with a United States-based bank.

Additionally, our acquiring bank has the following requirements:

1) The Application for a Merchant Account and the Merchant Agreement must be filled out completely, dated, and signed by all principals at the company.

2) An upfront reserve must be paid prior to the establishment of the Merchant Account. The percentage that is requested will vary and will be determined by the bank during the application process.

3) Any business selling a product must fulfill and ship all of its orders from within the United States.

4) Any business selling a service or a membership must process all of its transactions through a United States-based processor. Tricash, Cybercash, Jettis.com and NetBilling.com are examples of acceptable processors.
